How it works

StoryFlow

Turn a script into a finished short film. StoryFlow draws your cast, places and props once and keeps them the same in every shot; Make a film plans, animates, checks and edits the whole film.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Break the script down

StoryFlow finds the cast, the locations and the props, and lays out the storyboard from Shot Director’s camera plan.

  2. 2

Draw the cast and the set once

Every character, place and prop gets one reference picture that every shot reuses, so faces, costumes and props stay the same. You can download every picture.

  3. 3

    Make a film

Paste the script and choose a look (graphic novel, anime, watercolour, film noir, 3D animation, a pencil storyboard and more), a video model, the length, a spending limit, and how many redos a bad clip may get.

  4. 4

    Every clip is checked

Clips are made in order, each one continuing from the last. A checker compares every clip with the script and redoes it if it drifts. If it still fails after its redos, the film waits for you: redo it with a note, keep it, or start again from there.

  5. 5

Step by step, if you like

With Step by step on, the cheap parts run on their own, and the film waits for your OK before each clip is animated, showing you its picture and its exact prompt first.

  6. 6

    The edit

The editor keeps every line whole and cuts right after it, trims dead air, cuts out mistakes and adds the title cards, and a review agent watches the result. You can also cut exact moments yourself, for free, or write notes for the editor.

The film craft inside

Make a film follows Shot Director’s plan and the rulebook’s continuity rules: the same faces, costumes, props and places in every shot, screen direction held, and every shot long enough for its lines. The editor works from the editing rules in the library.

What it costs

  • 3 free breakdowns a day. The allowance resets at midnight UTC.
  • Pictures and films run on your own fal.ai key (Account → API keys), and you pay fal directly: a picture is about $0.07, and video costs from about $0.05 a second (Wan 3.0) and $0.072 a second (Seedance 2.0 Mini) to about $0.22 a second (Seedance 2.5), at 480p.
  • A 45-second film on Seedance Mini usually costs about $7–9 in all, with the pictures, the checks, the edit and the review.
  • You see an estimate before you start and the amount spent as it runs. A film never goes over your limit: it stops, and you can raise the limit and go on.
  • Best quality (Claude Opus 5.5 plans, checks and reviews everything) adds about $1–2.

Questions

Why won’t Seedance make my realistic film?+

Seedance’s safety filter blocks pictures that look like real people. For a realistic film choose Kling O3, or pick a drawn look such as anime, 3D animation or watercolour.

What does a redo cost?+

A redo makes the clip again, so it costs about the same as the clip: on Seedance Mini, about $0.72 for 10 seconds.

Can I change the limit while the film is being made?+

Yes. The spending limit and the redos per clip can be changed at any time on the film’s page.
