Shot Generator
Make video shots with Seedance, Kling or Wan. Free to use: every take runs on your own fal.ai key, and the page only offers what the model you chose can take.

Pick a model
Seedance 2.0 Mini for most shots, Seedance 2.0 Fast for speed, Seedance 2.5 for the best quality and takes up to 30 seconds, Kling O3 for realistic people, Wan 3.0 when price matters most.

Make your elements
Upload a picture of a character, a place or a prop (plus up to 3 more angles) and give it a name, or add the cast of your films in one click. Your elements are shared with your films.

Write the prompt with @
For example: "@jon sits on the floor of @bedroom with @mary." Typing @ shows your elements. Shot Generator turns each name into what the model understands.

Add a first and a last frame
Kling O3 takes elements, a first frame and a last frame at once. Seedance and Wan take either elements, or a first frame with an optional last frame.

See the price, make the take
The price shows before you press go. A take usually takes 1–4 minutes.

Download, then keep going
Download every take you want to keep: during beta, Lanternhouse does not store your takes, and each card shows the date to download it by. Continue from here starts the next take on this one’s last frame, so shots flow into each other. Tick takes and send them to The Stitch to edit them into one film.
The film craft inside
Prompts work best when they read like a director talking: the shot size, the camera move, where the light comes from, who stands where. The Film Knowledge Library explains each of these.
What it costs
- Free to use. Every take runs on your own fal.ai key (Account → API keys): one fal key covers Seedance, Kling and Wan, and you pay fal directly.
- Per second of video: Seedance 2.0 Mini $0.072 (480p) or $0.155 (720p); Seedance 2.0 Fast about $0.11 or $0.24; Seedance 2.5 $0.22 or $0.47; Kling O3 $0.084 silent or $0.112 with sound; Wan 3.0 $0.05 (480p), $0.10 (720p) or $0.20 (1080p).
- During beta, takes are not stored on Lanternhouse. Each video stays on fal’s link for at least 7 days, then fal can delete it for good: download every take you want to keep.
Questions
Which model should I start with?+
Seedance 2.0 Mini for most shots. Kling O3 for realistic people: Seedance refuses pictures that look like real people. Wan 3.0 when price matters most.
Why can’t Seedance use elements and a last frame together?+
Seedance offers them in two separate modes, so Shot Generator does too. Kling O3 can do both in one take.
Are my takes saved on Lanternhouse?+
Not during beta. Your list of takes stays, but the videos live on fal’s link: fal keeps each one for at least 7 days, then can delete it for good. Press Download on every take you want to keep; each card shows the date to download it by.
Can I use a Runway key or a Seedance-only key?+
Not yet: they are coming next. For now one fal.ai key covers every model here.
